Pikes Peak Poker was started back in 2009 by the previous owner, Marvin Coon. It started as a fun night out with friends to play Texas Hold'em and has since turned into the largest poker league in Southern Colorado.

In 2016 Pikes Peak Poker joined with the Bar Poker Open and is the only Bar Poker Open sanctioned league in Southern Colorado. What is the Bar Poker Open? It's the First World Class Championship for all of the Bar Poker Community. All you have to do is play in one of our live events at our multiple venues we have to offer and place in the top three! Then you can qualify to go to Las Vegas for the Bar Poker Open Main Event! In the 2021 Main Event the prize pool was $475,000 and 1st place took home $71,000 cash! So, come out and play for opportunity to win big! 

With all of that, there has been an ownership change for Pikes Peak Poker. Our new owner is Melissa McCoy, she started dealing for Pikes Peak Poker in 2016. She is very fun, outgoing, and loves to have a good time with all of the players who come to the games. She is driven to expand the league to make it bigger and better than before!
